Stayed in room 137. Gap in tub filled up with water as we showered. Bathroom flooded from underneath tub. Had to use all our towels to catch the water. Room smelled of mold, I assume from the interior walls getting wet. Bed was free of bugs but mattress was so discolored (yellowed). Sheet clean but covered in stain spots. Worst room I have ever stayed in. Contemplating calling the health department. Surely the mold/mildew smell alone has to be a hazard, code violation. Notified front desk. Never got a call back from management.

Nothing. It needs to be completely demolished. Horrible. I checked in, walked to my room, found it filthy, along with what could have been murder weapons for all I know. I returned to the front desk and the clerk didn't even remember just checking my in.

On entry the main lobby was offensive. The smell was HORRIBLE. Considered leaving but stuck it out. Our room had dirty, stained bedded. The sheets appeared ok so we slept not using the bedspread. STAINED AND DIRTY

I liked the location to the Colorado Mines campus. It was very easy to get there. I liked that even though staff was getting yelled at almost every time I went in the lobby by irate customers, they were young and they didn't retaliate. I felt really sorry for them. I can tell they had been verbally abused a lot. It seems like this staff represented a place that had been understaffed as far as room maintenance for years and they were receiving the brunt of the abuse.

The staff was very nice and accommodating, even let me get another cup of milk from the back when breakfast was over and me and my boyfriend were still enjoying our breakfast. Breakfast doesn’t have many options but has options.
